Web design · Wedding photographers

A wedding photographer's website has ten seconds. Make them count.

A couple opens your site from Instagram or a venue's supplier list, and in ten seconds they have decided whether to keep scrolling. Your best frame, your real couples, your venues, loading instantly on a phone. Then one clear route to the consultation. That is the whole brief, and it is what I build.

A wedding photographer's site is an intelligent website with one job: turn the couple who loved your work on their friend's feed into a booked consultation before the other two photographers have replied.

What it has to do

The first frame does the selling.

One frame, full width, first

Not a carousel of twelve. One photograph that says who you are, loading before anything else on the page. Then the range: rooms, light, faces, the moments between the moments.

Galleries that load on one bar

Images sized and served for the phone in a couple's hand, loading as they scroll rather than all at once. No plugin bloat, no spinner, no waiting.

Found by venue and region

Once a couple has booked the venue, they search for their photographer by it. A page for each venue you have shot, from a real wedding there, and a page for each region you cover.

The consultation, not the quote

A form shaped to how you book: the date, the venue, how they found you. No price if you sell in a call. And Violet, INKON's AI assistant, replies in seconds so you are first even mid-shoot.

Proof

Built for the wedding industry. Live now.

Howard Wing is an award-winning wedding singer. His site is the same shape yours would be: the work first, a page for every region he sings in, real couples named on every page, one route to the meeting. Eighteen wedding photographers and film makers are credited on it by name, because their pictures made it.

It scored 97 for performance and 100 for accessibility, best practice and SEO on Google's own Lighthouse test the day it went live.

What it costs

Prices published. No quote games.

The build is included on the Grow plan at £249 a month, your first month paid at go-ahead, or £2,490 for the year paid up front, which is two months free. That covers the galleries, the venue pages and the enquiry response. Prefer to own it outright? A five-page Starter Site is £800.

Every price and add-on is on the pricing page.

How I work

From audit to live, around your diary.

  1. Free audit. What your current site is costing you in enquiries, yours to keep either way.
  2. One call. We agree pages, galleries and a date. You talk about your weddings; I take it from there.
  3. Build in the open. Preview links as it takes shape. You send galleries between weddings, I build as they land.
  4. Live, then growing. Every wedding you shoot becomes a venue post. Ten in, you have ten venue pages.

Wedding photographer website questions, answered straight

How much does a wedding photographer website cost?

The build is included on the Grow plan at £249 a month, your first month paid at go-ahead, or £2,490 for the year paid up front, which is two months free. That covers the galleries, the venue pages and the enquiry response. A five-page Starter Site you own outright is £800. Every price is on the pricing page.

Should I just use Squarespace or Pixieset?

For a gallery, they are fine. They will not get you found for the venues you shoot, they will not answer an enquiry at midnight, and they look like the other two tabs the couple has open. If you already have one, the free audit shows what it is costing you before you decide anything.

How many photos should go on my homepage?

Fewer than you think. One frame that says everything, then eight to twelve that show range: the rooms, the light, the faces, the moments. The full galleries live a click away, where they load when they are wanted.

Do wedding photographers need a blog?

Yes, and it is easier than it sounds: every wedding you shoot is a post with the venue in the title. Ten posts in, you have ten venue pages, each one a real day at a real place. That is how couples who have booked the venue find you.

How do I get found for a venue I shoot at?

A page or a post for that venue, with real photos from a real wedding there, the venue named in the title and in the copy, and a link from the venue if they will give you one. Never a page that only claims the venue; couples can tell, and so can Google.

Can the site reply to enquiries while I am shooting?

Yes. Violet, INKON's AI assistant, answers every enquiry in seconds, asks about the date and the venue, and books the consultation for when you are free. The couple gets a reply during the wedding you are shooting, and you get the meeting.

Find out what your website should be doing for you.

Free audit. No meeting, no obligation. A short breakdown of what is costing you enquiries and what I would do about it, straight to your inbox.
