Web design · Wedding videographers

A videographer's website should play, not describe.

Nobody books a wedding videographer off a paragraph. They book off thirty seconds of film that plays the moment the page opens, on the phone in their hand. I build sites where the film is the pitch: hosted to play on every phone, found by venue and region, and answered in seconds when the enquiry comes in.

A wedding videographer's site is an intelligent website with one job: play your film before the couple can scroll, then turn the feeling into a booked meeting.

What it has to do

Film first, and it plays.

The hero film starts instantly

Hosted with the site, cut light enough to start the moment the page opens, encoded so every iPhone plays it, and playing only while it is on screen so the page stays fast. No third-party player, no adverts for someone else's wedding under yours.

Photos that never wait

Film is served in slices, so your stills, your reviews and your form never queue behind it. On a venue's weak signal you feel the difference; on a fast connection you never think about it.

Found by venue and region

Once a couple has booked the venue, they search for their videographer by it. A page for each venue you have filmed, from a real wedding there, and a page for each region you cover.

The meeting, not the package

A form shaped to how you book: the date, the venue, the feel they want. No price list if you sell in a call. And Violet, INKON's AI assistant, replies in seconds so you are first even mid-film.

Proof

A film-first build, live now.

Howard Wing's site is built around film: nine of them, a welcome film above every enquiry form, his montage as the hero. It scored 97 for performance on Google's own Lighthouse test the day it went live, with film on every page.

The lessons from that build, including the one video an old Safari refused until we re-encoded it, are in every film site I build now.

What it costs

Prices published. No quote games.

The build is included on the Grow plan at £249 a month, your first month paid at go-ahead, or £2,490 for the year paid up front, which is two months free. That covers the film hosting, the venue pages and the enquiry response. Prefer to own it outright? A five-page Starter Site is £800.

Every price and add-on is on the pricing page.

How I work

From audit to live, around your diary.

  1. Free audit. What your current site is costing you in enquiries, and whether your films actually play on a phone.
  2. One call. We agree pages, films and a date. You talk about your weddings; I take it from there.
  3. Build in the open. Preview links as it takes shape. You send films between weddings, I encode and build as they land.
  4. Live, then growing. Every wedding you film becomes a venue post with its own film.

Wedding videographer website questions, answered straight

How much does a wedding videographer website cost?

The build is included on the Grow plan at £249 a month, your first month paid at go-ahead, or £2,490 for the year paid up front, which is two months free. That covers the film hosting, the venue pages and the enquiry response. A five-page Starter Site you own outright is £800. Every price is on the pricing page.

Should I embed my films from YouTube or Vimeo?

For the full films, Vimeo is fine. The hero loop should be hosted with the site and kept light, so it starts the moment the page opens and never shows an advert or a related video that is not yours under your best work.

Why will my film not play on some iPhones?

Usually the encoding. Some exports come out as 10-bit 4:2:2, which Apple's hardware does not decode, so the film sits on a black frame while everything else works. Re-encoding to 8-bit 4:2:0 fixes it, and every film on an INKON site is checked for exactly that before it goes live.

How many films should autoplay on my homepage?

One that plays on arrival, one that plays with sound when the couple chooses, and the rest a click away. A page of autoplaying films is a page that stalls, and a stalled page is a closed tab.

How do I get found for a venue I film at?

A page or a post for that venue, with a real film from a real wedding there, the venue named in the title and the copy, and a link from the venue if they will give you one. Never a page that only claims the venue; couples can tell, and so can Google.

Can the site reply to enquiries while I am filming?

Yes. Violet, INKON's AI assistant, answers every enquiry in seconds, asks about the date and the venue, and books the meeting for when you are free. The couple gets a reply during the wedding you are filming, and you get the meeting.

Find out what your website should be doing for you.
